Naan N Curry - Oakland

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the late-night Indian food at this restaurant, especially considering there was only one person working. Despite this, everything was served quickly and was fresh, hot, and well-prepared. I will definitely be returning. The lamb vindaloo was perfectly spicy and delicious.

The Naan is tasteless and resembles plastic food. There was no flavor and they tried to force us to pay a tip.

The food was decent, but too spicy for my taste and it was overpriced. The menu they have on display is outdated with old prices.

Ok, I really appreciate that when I forgot to order rice, the restaurant comped it and included it in my Postmates order. Everything was great, the mango lassi, the chicken Tikka masala, the lamb kabob, the palak paneer, the rice, except the 4 pieces of naan. For some reason, they had no flavor, which for Naan Curry, was shocking. Have you changed your flour or the way you make it? I don't know, but that, honestly, is what makes me come back more than anything else.UPDATE: My family tried the leftovers and had the same opinion of the plain naan. Bland and tasteless. Again, this wasn't the norm but, apparently, it is now.

Ordered Uber eats and waited 2 hours and they cancelled order and would not answer phone to explain why . . If you check out the reviews , the food reviews has pretty bad ones. I talked to the local hotel I was staying at… and this place is known for bad overpriced food with too much pepper masking what flavor it is meant to have . Avoid avoid avoid . Will go bust
