Anand Bar and Restaurant - Nova Goa

We had a most delicious lunch at this restaurant ...a mix of rawa/ semolina encrusted fish fries, Goan chicken xacuti & prawn curry .... with rice . The place is so popular it's difficult to get a place ... but luckily this being off season , we could make it . Don't look for any fancy decor etc., go for the food if you are a discerning foodie .

One went prepared for a simple place with great food but the restaurant was down right dirty, the waiters very unwashed & unkempt , the loos & wash basins directly visible from the tables and we didnt even dare look into the kitchens.And the food was just passable.Recommend you go to Vinayak a mere 3 min walk away if inexpensive but clean home style Goan cooking is what you are looking for

The food quality is always consistent whenever we have visited Anand!! Excellent seadfood, fish curry rice....yummmmm!!!

You have to be there early say by 12.45 in the afternoon if you want a place, A typically Goan restaurant serving the Rice plate but yes authentic stuff, No great ambience but you die for the food.The Xinaneo crumb fried, is great infact all the Seafood is just excellent Kingfish is great,Worth a visit

Loved the king fish N tiger prawns... Fish curry N rice was awesome ???? ???? ???? ????.... Service was ok....
