Satay Sate Indonesian Food - North York

Had their fried chicken entre, their coconut drink and their banana fritters. This is my second time going here. The food is really good. Its different but familiar! I would definitely recomend this place if you wanna try 100% halal indonesian food. The owner is wonderful person! For the 3 items, the price was definitely reasonable.Dietary restrictions: Its 100% halal, the owner is very conscious of that.

The food is very good, the only thing is they come a bit cold (and the restaurant was not busy at the time). The service is very good and the restaurant is very clean. I wish they can improve on ensuring the dishes are hot. My family and I enjoyed our time there and will be back. The restaurant provides a coupon so parking is free.Parking: Use the parking to the building. The restaurant will give you a coupon (for 3 hours parking) so you don't have to pay.

First off, I do have to say they have really nice staff. But what I don't get is, how they're getting such high ratings for food quality and taste? We had a soup, their fried chicken spicy, nasi goreng and a noodle dish. The quality of their ingredients isreally poor and the taste is very bland. The meatball was so gross I almost chocked. We came here based on the ratings and wastruly disappointed with their food. The mango soda is worth a try. For me, this was a total miss on authentic Indonesian cuisinewhich is kinda sad. But, on a flip side they do give you a 3hr free parking voucher which is a bonus. Hopefully they'llimprove!

I never had a proper Indonesian meal before (only the odd satay skewer here and there) but I got a chance today. The satay skewers all slapped (we had tempeh, tofu, chicken, and beef) and the sauce literally made everything so tasty. The fried chickenwas also insane. It's marinated in curry. The fried rice and fried noodles too had a sweet and savoury profile and the littlesalad had diced up fresh pickles. The beef rendang curry was also really good with some coconut fragrant steamed rice. Ihonestly don?t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. I?m happy that this was my introduction to Indonesian andJavanese food. I?ll be trying more for sure!

I have been eating here for years. This is a hidden gem. They have the best peanut satay sauce I've ever had. Friendly staff.. Just an overall gem. Would recommend to anyone.For parking: get a ticket in the garage and then ask the restaurant for a parking pass. You need both your original ticket as well as the pass they give you to exit for free. 3 hr free parking they give!
