Small Rooms Steak Lobster

Great food and atmosphere, but more expensive than expected.

This restaurant has been around for at least 40-45 years.  I remember going on special occasions with my parents.  I have to say that I found it to be dated to way back then.  I love the idea of pickles, olives and garlic bread given to you when you come in.  The fish spread was a nice addition.  I had steak and it was cooked to perfection.  My hubby had the ribs.  The meat fell right off the bones.  Going back, down memory lane was fabulous, and the  music was lowered to just right.  I hope to go back soon!

Excellent food for a reasonable price!. I went to Small Rooms after graduation with my father and step mom and had an all around excellent experience. I'd been there once before before for lunch but hadn't experienced their mouth-watering steaks. First off anytime you dine there they bring complimentary garlic bead, pickles, olives and a delicious fish spread. The garlic bread was a bit oily but tasted great with the spread. For an appetiser we had fresh oysters. I was a bit hesitant to order them, since they don't specialise in oysters, but they were fresh and large. I ordered the filet mignon, which came wrapped in bacon. The steak was cooked perfectly, I asked for medium rare and it came medium rare. One of the best steaks I ever had! The potatoes were also delicious and were perfect for soaking up the steak jus. For three people the bill was just over 100 bucks, which included beer and wine. VERY reasonable considering the top notch quality of the food. Don't be put off by the location and the decor (which is dated, but charming). This restaurant is a diamond in the rough and considering the excellent food, not to mention great service, it is well worth checking out.

Good food, decor is a bit dated. Prices very reasonable compared to the keg, better steak too in my opinion

Chandler. We have been having a buddies dinner on a regular basis now for 5 years. The decor may be tacky but the steaks and ribs are excellent cooked to our entire satisfaction. The appetizers (pickles, taramousalata and garlic bread) are very good. This is a family run business and they do a very good job. They deserve our support.
