I frequent the drive-thru at this restaurant often and I must say, most of the staff are incredibly rude, with a few exceptions. My orders are often incorrect, even when they are small. There is one girl in particular who hands out the food in a very rude manner - no greeting, no smile, no thank you, just plain rudeness. If I were the manager, I would definitely address how the staff interacts with customers. Thankfully, this is McDonald's, because if it were an independent restaurant, I doubt they would have any repeat customers. I don't like to complain, but this particular McDonald's is the worst.

Having driven to Hitchin for an appt, Stopped for a quick burger. Parking is awkward, tight turn, you need to be in the drive through queue before you can go around. Auto machines advised take-out only, even though there were empty tables. Waiting not too long, but seemed to do easy orders before family bulk orders.

I always have to wait for a long time in the drive-thru at this restaurant. When I finally get to the ordering point, the staff is very rude. They rush through the order without asking if I want medium or large, which leads me to forget things. They never give me the salsa dip for the nacho bites or mozzarella dippers. While I was waiting in my car, I saw some young teenagers behaving in a disgusting manner, sitting on tables and stools and vaping. Despite young children eating with their families, the staff did nothing to stop them. I usually avoid going to this McDonald's in Hitchin because the food is cold and unsatisfactory. However, on the rare occasion that the chips are hot, it is a pleasant surprise. After tonight's terrible experience with cold food and bad service, I will not be returning and will advise others to do the same. Hitchin McDonald's, please improve your service!

Sat with my daughter and witness one of the staff members I believe might be management shouting abuse at some young lads that have just walked in shout for them to leave if they aren't ordering the young lads were just sat waiting for there friends food and she made them wait outside another group of lads were sat eating nicely and she hoovering about waiting for them to finish to kick them out absolutely disgusting behaviour
