Brasserie Borriglione - Nice

We were looking somewhere around the busy market square on a Saturday and luckily we found this brasserie.

Bad beer served in a hot glass. Small pint instead of the requested big one. Bad waiters. NOT RECCOMENDED

We visit (4 times in the last 3 weeks) because we stay locally. It is a popular and lively bar and not touristy. The staff are great as is the enigmatic manager/owner! Food can vary - plat de jours can surprise, at both ends of the scale. My wife's 'lapin' yesterday is being described as the best meal in 3 weeks, but I have had better Penne Arrabiat etc etc. Worth a study visit.

Really, nothing stands out. The taste is on average. We had a steak, which was a bit overcooked. Maybe only the dessert was fine. Quite disappointed.

2015 Reviewed this restaurant in glowing terms. Disapointment this year the meals were terrible, my pizza was burnt and cold , our other meal sadly disapointing After looking forward to another good experience the same os previous year this was a sad experience. The service was rough and slow even though there were very few people dining at the time. Certainly taken this place off our recommendation list.
