Madras Cafe, Taste Of South India

The best compliment I can give is that it is next to the best Indian restaurant Zaika. Food:2/5 Ambiance: 4/5 When me and my friends reached there, restaurant staff was on break. Understandable and we waited for 20 min. Most of things were not ready. Its speciality is South Indian cuisine and let me tell you, they don’t even serve Idly, vada and filter coffee. I know South Indian food is more than that but basics things were not done correctly. Dosas served were half cooked. Served on the table though( that was good serving). As appetizers they served chicken 65. You can see in the third image below. If you never had a chicken 65 then let me tell you that it should be hot n spicy and nice tangy zest to it. When we tasted the chicken, I couldn’t taste any spice and also no salt. It was served fully cooked with red color. I cannot believe how they called it chicken 65. It was simply red chicken. Chicken biryani, Gulabjamun were good. No way I can recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Hotel is in terrible state, food was much more terrible. Fried rice was completely oily, fried rice for 3 plates could have been prepared with that oil used. My son was completely sick after having food over there. I am not sure how good reviews are found here may be now management is changed and its not good. I cannot post review without star, else its not worth for single star also.

The restaurant recently changed management, and the food is delicious with a truly authentic flavor. However, they could expand the buffet selection by adding a few more dishes. The hospitality is commendable, but when we were there for the buffet, the restaurant was quite warm. I hope they manage the temperature better in the future. I've visited Godavari about 8 to 9 times, and I have never had any issues with the taste.

John and Ozzie were at the peak of their game at 11 o'clock, expertly handling a large order of 11 dosas and coffee. They demonstrated incredible patience and provided excellent customer service. The dosas were delicious, and the coffee was absolutely perfect—10/10!

We had a fantastic experience at Madras Cafe! The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. It's located within walking distance from Rainbow Blvd, which was convenient for us. We decided to explore different dishes rather than sticking to the highly recommended spots, and that turned out to be a great choice. The menu offered a wonderful selection, and the staff took excellent care of us throughout our visit. We found ourselves discussing the flavors and our meals for days afterward. We would definitely recommend Madras Cafe to our friends!
