I had a wonderful experience here. My server Eric was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive and the food was AMAZING!!! Pork belly is a must, and the Holiday roll. I’ll be returning for my next visit in Newport.

Wow, this restaurant raised some serious concerns for me. The interior is a major red flag—everything seems to be falling apart and desperately needs an update. The menu was a headache to read, with random fonts and poorly lit images of the rolls that were hard to discern. There were flies buzzing around, and the tables were uneven due to warped flooring. To top it off, the wait staff appeared more interested in reading their newspapers than taking orders. If the front of house is in this condition, I can only imagine how the kitchen must be. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to finish with the sports section and take our order, we decided to leave. I didn't want to risk food poisoning!

The food took quite a while to arrive, and it wasn't very impressive, either. However, the atmosphere was really laid-back, and our waiter was friendly.
