Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Newark

The mango monsoon smoothie was amazing, but the customer service was exceptional. When I entered, the staff greeted me, took my order at the counter, and within a few minutes, they handed me my smoothie and even opened the door for me as I left. This was my first visit, and I will definitely be returning! 10/10.

I have been a fan of Tropical Smoothie for years, but I recently experienced a decline in quality. During my last visit, I found a piece of plastic at the bottom of my smoothie, which came from the straw. The manager refused to give a refund and blamed us for the incident, claiming that my little brother had chewed on the straw. Thankfully, we were able to prevent him from swallowing it. As a result, I have decided to switch to Planet Smoothie for my future smoothie fix.

The smoothie was decent, but the employees were extremely rude. The only pleasant person was the manager. Everyone else seemed to have an attitude problem. This is the second time I have experienced this at Tropical Smoothie. I will now be visiting the Wilmington location instead.

This was my first time in Delaware during a business trip from Miami, and I was really craving a smoothie. When I walked into the establishment, I was surprised to find that I was the only customer, while there were seven employees present. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment as I stood there for a full four minutes, waiting for one of them to acknowledge and help me.What made the situation even more frustrating was the fact that two of the employees looked directly at me and then proceeded to turn their backs, resuming whatever they were doing. This blatant display of disregard and lack of customer service ultimately led me to leave the establishment. VERY DISAPPOINTED

This Tropical Smoothie Cafe has such a great location and I usually order here instead of getting more preservative based foods from the food court in the mall.The staff can prepare smoothies so quick! And they definitely take pride in that. I really enjoy the food options and being able to remove chicken or swap with a vegetarian option. I usually get a Hummus Wrap or a Sante Fe Quesadilla with no chicken.The smoothies blend so well and are so balanced, no chunks or over powering flavors. I always remove the sugar and sub with coconut or white chocolate and it's perfect.Their seasonal options are fantastic so make sure you go at least once every season.
