At the first meal our server was Alex FANTASTIC. he had so good energy, was very good about the menu, and honestly we have everything he recommended because he was right about the best things on the menu. First it was the chips with Ranch, then his recommendation for Margaritas, the Bison Fleischloaf and Bison in general, then of course when he said the season Dessert was the most popular that we had to try and it was phenomenal. Alex made the experience and was overall a large server. Food was amazing and everything was quality! Would go back for food and service
My husband always goes past this place when he goes to Delaware, and today we decided to stop during our visit. Ribeye Bison with brussel sprouts was delicious. Perfectly cooked medium rare. Husband has a rib with broccoli and he said it was great. It's a lot of food, so we took half of it home. We also got the strawberry shortcake for dessert, which was also a good way to finish the meal. The dessert was light and refreshing. Our server Alex was very friendly and often checked with us. It's a nice casual place, and we'll be back when we're in town.
We stopped looking forward to a great meal here. It was okay. The hamburgers are good, but the Brisket portion and the butter carrots were not. The children Steak meal ended the only dish worth the cost. The server was great, he was very animated and really seemed to enjoy his job. Otherwise, for us, this place was just another overpriced Hamberger church.
Wonderful surprise. I had wanted to take my wife out for Mother?s Day and she told me the day of, she didn?t want to go to her usual spot. Quickly searching for a solution this was recommended by a good friend who is picky with food. Summary: Delicious food with the right atmosphere. Felt very private and intimate. Unique experience. Unfortunately they didn?t have any Cheesecake and we were too full to try to eat any other desserts. (Always room for cheesecake) Starting off you walk in through this revolving door, very slick, and you enter in the bar side. Nice when you realize you may have to wait a few minutes before sitting. However, we had reservations. Even with reservations the place was so busy we would up waiting almost half an hour. Probably my one complaint. After being seated we were brought delicious cucumbers and some water. Prompt and quick. Very appropriate on such a busy day. We ordered their ?hand crafted? drinks and fell in love with them. I?m an Arnold Palmer fan so it was a nice surprise to see it on the menu. As you can see in the photo, they look lovely and taste better. We ordered quickly since we had ample time to check out the menu. Bison nachos and a Bison Ribeye for me. The nachos were amazing. Fresh jalapeños with nice heat and flavor. Hot enough to kick your tongue but not detract from the flavor. Crunchy and wet with some delicious chips. My wife had the Bison strip. When in Rome? I could rave about the food forever. I?ve never had bison and it was delicious. I ordered my steak medium but probably could have done a medium rare. The meat was flavorful and juicy. Every bite had good marbling and crust. A nice mixture of crunch and juicy flavor. They only offered a 14oz ribeye so be prepared to eat or take leftovers. My wife struggled with the fat on her NY strip, because Bison does have a distinct flavor. She did enjoy it, save for the fat. (Her loss) Overall we left full, and satisfied. I only wish we could have tried the cheesecake. I?m a lover of cheesecake and I think it would have set the bar high based on the rest of the dinner. Looking forward to a return visit soon.
