Insanely good roasted meats over rice. We tried all types of meat they offered and everything was extremely tender, flavorful, and affordable. I was hoping to think that this place had been overhyped but now I would line up without hesitation. The wait was a bit long but you can't find this quality and quantity at this price anywhere else.
Lots of food for cheap and tasted good tho a bit greasy
We had the chicken as everything else had sold out. The prices are so cheap but the food is so good. Would definitely visit again to try the pork. The small is definitely big enough for most.
Honest review CASH ONLY, expect to wait 30-45 mins cause the line is long, only take-out, and they don’t speak English, don’t expect service : , good portions Inside interior is kind of old and not remodeled, but I like the open kitchen and I go more for the food. No place to eat in the store, but there is a park across the street where there are a lot of benches to sit and eat. If you are looking for a sit down place, this is not the place for you : They only have roasted chicken, pork, or duck in small or large with only white rice or just the meat by the pound. My go to order is half duck and half chashu (small , but I usually go on off times like 2-3pm since there is less of a rush. Fyi there is not much meat on the duck depending on the piece, but the duck is juicy and delicious. I wouldn’t say this place is the best rice and meat place I have tried, but for the price it is pretty worth it. Like the name states it is fast food, so as soon as you place your order, you see them scooping some rice, then laying the boiled cabbage on top and chopping up the meat choices. This place is somewhere I have been going for a while before the hype so I have good memories with it. I will agree that if you are in town for a short period of time, there are other places around, but I would still think is worth a try in Chinatown.
