Hello New Yorkers,On my last day of business trip, so far I have no have any luck of getting any good coffee this time at New York, and I don’t want to be a Starbucks snob when I am in town. Before heading to airport, I feel I need to end my New York trip right by finding another coffee store that I enjoy. There isn’t any coffee shop near by my Westin hotel, the closest store is Gorilla cafe, but I am not a big fan of the store name when I can’t find any relationship between a gorilla and coffee. the logo makes me feel I am order a coffee while I am at the zoo. As the time clicking, I decide to give it a shot by ordering a very basic latte and I believe it costs around $5 and up and no foods this time.Surprisingly, the barista is skilled coffee makers, not only they make a right ratio of the milk and espresso, but also create a latte art. This shows some skill and prefect milk temperature that I enjoy.Maybe I have not drank any nice coffee during my visits this time, so I found Gorilla cafe latte delicious; or maybe it does not deserve 5 stars without trying their foods. I know I will revisit the place when I stay near by 42th of New York for their coffee.Paul

We took an iced mocha and an iced chai it was very good !The food too we had the salmon sandwich and the bacon and egg rolled croissant.The disappointment is more about the price, probably because we’re not from New York but still it was very expensive for 1 small drink 1 medium and the two sandwich we paid 45$ including the tip.It’s such a lot of money for a small quick breakfast that to me the quality is not enough to justify this crazy price.The service was very basic like everywhere in New York.We wanted to go in a local coffee shop instead of a Starbucks or something but at this point it’s not worth it.

Came here and ordered the Gorilla Chill Pizza Pastrino. Food was delicious, some of the best frozen coffee I've ever had. Wi-Fi was fast the staff here were super friendly. Will definitely be returning!

It was plain white bread with cheese and just a tiny piece of chicken and small drop of tomato sauce. The amount of food, amount of meat was very little for the price. I don't have a problem paying that amount for a quality of food, but not for the pretentiously looking place serving just bread in place of sandwich,It was not even enough to digest the tastes.
