Bidrage med feedbackKhao soi was disappointing Overall dish was bland and chicken drumsticks while fall off the bone were clearly overcooked. Braised pork leg on rice was fantastic, though, and Tom kha flavourful. Delivery was quick!
In the 10 years I have lived in NYC I've probably tried 10+ Thai restaurants. This one is by far the best!
I wonder if people understand what a gem this place this. In Thailand (I am Thai), you would travel to specific night markets or stalls known for their skill in making just one of the dishes you find here, and each vendor would only specialize in that one dish. Here, every single dish I have tried over the course of 6 visits is outstanding and reminds me of home. Try the curried Koi Soi noodles with chicken that falls off the bone or their Beef stew with meatballs with a bone broth with the depth of flavor that only comes from simmering for hours. Of course you can get tried and true favorites that you are already familiar with to see just how much a cut above the rest this place is, but I urge you to try something new. Many things, like the Chiang Mai sausage or the crispy pork belly over rice or noodles, aren't typically available at other restaurants. This is the work of a true master chef who takes pride in her craftsmanship. They also give you all the extra fixings, no skimping here. The place is small and unassuming with only a few tables, but the staff are so sweet and lovely. Take out is reliably fast too, packed in high quality containers reinforced with plastic wrap to prevent spillage. Portions are generous.
Delicious and flavorful!! Wish there were more noodles but they are thin
The Pad Thai doesn't list that there is tofu as an ingredient. Unfortunately I have a tofu allergy, so I was forced to comb through and pick out all the tofu. Flavor was great, just a heads up they don't list all the ingredients.
