Sticky's Finger Joint - New York City

Sticky's is the perfect spot for anyone who loves chicken tenders and nuggets. The chicken fingers are consistently crispy and delicious. The French fries must be made with care because they really warm your heart. I haven't tried the cookies yet, but I'm definitely planning to next time. The staff is always incredibly friendly and respectful.

**Pros:** The sauces they offer. **Cons:** The chicken itself. We ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Thighs, which turned out to be dull, grey, soggy boneless chicken pieces, resembling low-quality nuggets. They were served with a watered-down hot honey sauce, priced at $10.95 for eight pieces—meaning you’re paying $1.36 for each subpar nugget. It’s hard to believe they can get away with this. Neither of us could finish them; they were that unappetizing. We had called ahead to request sesame seeds instead of scallions and Carolina Reaper powder, but the restaurant declined any substitutions or customizations. Additionally, we paid extra for a few sauces and requested the hot honey chicken thighs to be generously sauced. Their response was, “Extra sauce is 75 cents. Do you want to redo your order on Uber Eats to cover that?" We thought we could still enjoy the regular chicken thighs with the sauces, but since the hot honey chicken was so off-putting, we couldn’t. The sauces—Mac sauce, ranch, General Tso's, and their signature sauce—were decent, albeit on the salty side, and they all had a tartar-like tang. We also tried the soggy Cajun fries, which were sitting under the Thai fiesta chicken. While the chicken in that dish was not grey and slightly better than the others, it certainly wasn’t enough to make us want to return to Sticky Fingers. We’re just not fans of low-quality, unidentifiable chicken. If that’s what we wanted, we could have just gone for gas station fried chicken instead, right?

Just one word: Delicious! If only I could find something like this in Florida to challenge PDQ and Huey Magoo's, I'd pull up here and show them who's really in charge! Tonight, I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich along with some French fries. The fries were incredibly crispy, and the sandwich was juicy with the boldest flavor of any spicy sandwich I've ever had! Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Note: 3 stars only for amazing food, to be honest food deserve 5 stars,but some of staff members wish if I give them 0 stars, even my coworker had bad experiences with some of the staff, so don't want to go there,he order it for me, and I went to for pickup around 1:40pm, my coworker,he don't even order like before,but he was telling me that fried chicken is delicious, so I ask him to order it for me, and thought its gonna be quick when you order online 20- 30 minutes in advance,but even after I got there, they make to wait 20 minutes more and even female staff who works at cashier not friendly at all, I think it's much better when order inside the store, because everyone who came and order after me get the food first while am waiting, please! atlest staff must be friendly and talk nicley, treat everyone same way, even Male staff, who gave me my order, when he gave to me his facial expressions was no good.

First time I ever at a Sticky's Finger Joint was back in 2012. Being from Canada, I have been waiting to finally eat it again aftwr 10 years! The flavour amd taste is just as amazing as it was back then. Love it!!?
