Peking Duck House - New York City

This restaurant serves the freshest and crispiest Peking Duck you'll find anywhere. It's always moist and perfectly cooked. This is the gold standard in the U.S., and I'm so glad this place offers delivery!

The food was bland, with the exception of the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, which were quite enjoyable.

I found this experience to be quite disappointing. The food was truly bland and overly mushy. The sesame noodles lacked flavor, and the chicken in the Sliced Chicken and Broccoli was gelatinous and unappetizing, so much so that I was the only one in my family who tried it. The Chicken Lettuce Wrap was the only decent dish, but it had far too little lettuce.

The Peking Duck is fantastic! The skin is perfectly crispy, the duck meat is tender, and it comes with pancakes, scallions, and sauce. It's carved right at the table, adding to the experience. We always make sure to eat here every time we visit NYC!

I have only been to Peking Duck House twice since I live out of state, but both experiences have been nothing short of amazing! Ever since my first visit in 2016, it has set a new standard for all other Chinese restaurants in my mind—in the best way possible. No one, and I mean NO ONE, comes close to the incredible food at Peking Duck House. The Paradise Beef is the best Chinese dish I've ever had. I just wish I had something this good back in Maryland. I will definitely make it a must-visit spot on all my future trips to NYC!
