Bidrage med feedbackThe latest casualty of Harlem Gentrification. The building is being renovated and they have closed this cafe while doing extensive work on the building. Word in the area is that it will not re-open, but I hope that's misinformation. Thank you to the owners and employees of this cafe who made it such a great place to hang out.
A neighborhood favorite! The coffees are always great, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is chill. You can easily get some work done here, come alone and meet new people, or gather with a friend or two. I appreciate the latte art effort with to go orders as well!
Cozy and inviting, this is a great coffee shop to get work done or socialize with a friend. WiFi is strong. The service is excellent as well. They make the coffee quickly and the coffee tastes delicious. I love that they have almond milk and oat milk and some vegan breakfast options. I enjoy their chia pudding. The only downside is 3.75 for a coffee. I will continue to come here often. Recommended!
Whomever gave this spot a 4 star ordered an Oat milk Latte because that was pretty good except I think Oat milk makes every drink taste good. The Vanilla doughnut TRASH, taste spoiled and it's dry. The Banana bread NASTY, taste like it's been sitting there for way too long. I think their stuff is old, you can see a brown line forming near the banana bread crust. I was actually also going to sit in and chill charge my phone a bit before heading hombut the aura in the cafe was very mixy, the staff weren't cool to feel comfortable to sit down around either. I got my stuff and dipped, literally. It's cute to look at but probably wouldn't waste another $13 there. Oat Latte Banana Bread Vanilla doughnut Update, THANK YOU MONICA you're sweet. However I will not be returning as my experience was still less than satisfactory. As you mentioned, the customer service is something the café is working on, and I truly hope it gets better for the business sake. The extremely obnoxious guy (light skinned with a high ponytail) that was standing with his arms crossed staring at me as we spoke made me feel uncomfortable and his mannerism is unacceptable and rude. I had my bag ready to sit in and eat to get a feel of the ambiance but instead left because I felt so uncomfortable. No one should ever feel like their patronage is not welcome. Especially in a café in their own backyard. Rosa, Thanks for inviting me back in, I ordered an Iced Matcha and Peanut butter cookie. The Cookie was good!
We came here for coffee and it was very good. I had the dirty chai tea. It was good and I had a croissant. Their area outside is very nice and enough space for three different customers. There was a line because the space is small and it is limited to few people. I would come back to try their regular chai the dirty chia was a little tart for my taste but it could be because I added no sugar.
