Romna Tandoori Indian Take Away

I used to frequent Romna on Rumbridge Street, but after a recent disappointing meal delivered to me, I will not be going back. I called the restaurant to inquire if they had a new chef, as the quality of the food was significantly worse than what I had previously experienced. I wanted to inform them of the issues I had with the meal, including rice clumped together and undercooked chips. Despite my feedback, the only thing they offered to replace for free were the chips. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and customer service, especially considering I had been a regular customer. I expressed my disappointment at their response and questioned if other establishments would treat their customers in the same way.

Tonight was a perfect 10 out of 10! The restaurant produced the rice just how I like it upon my special request, and it was phenomenal. The naan bread was baked perfectly, and the curry was uniquely and authentically the best Madras I've ever tasted. To top it off, I also received 3 complimentary poppadoms, which for me, completes the meal.

The food arrived on time, but unfortunately, everything was cold except for the curry, which was lukewarm. I called to complain, but was told that everything was warm when it left the restaurant. I have had much better curries at other restaurants in Totton, so I won't be ordering from here again, sadly.

Swimming in oil, actually poured off a couple of spoonfuls of oil off before plating up. its not often we have take away and now I know why. Yuk yuk yuk

Always had good food from here. Excellent choices across the curry spectrum. Takeaway only.
