Bidrage med feedbackAll around with food service and atmosphere, this place is lovely.
Beware restaraunt week! We (wife and daughter, too) went to Salt expecting the same level of service and attentiveness we have come to expect from the establishment. The comfort level and atmosphere were as expected--professional and welcoming with a great view across the water from our table. What we did not expect was the level of service from lack of availability of a restaraunt week special (swordfish), no seafood substitute available on the restaraunt week menu (salmon is a regular menu item), placement of the incorrect entrees in front of us, duck bones in the duck ragu and even questioning if we 'decided to switch entrees ' when the server noticed the plates were exchanged. I sincerely hope this is a one-time shortfall on what has been an excellent venue. If this had been our first visit I doubt we would have returned.
Jocelyn was incredibly kind and she put in the pizza order before my son and I could even order from the server to help us out. It was incredibly cool to see how well the service and staff worked here.
Fantastic food and fantastic service! Never disappointed here!
Arrived at a very beautiful location and was met by a very nice and professional hostess and waiter. The atmosphere was extremely nice and warming. The above mentioned are the positives.I paid $50.00 on two glasses of wine and wasn't shown the bottles, or given the correct red wine glass or sample first. This might be picky, but I like to see the bottle my wine comes from. This could be easily remedied. We ordered the Cod and I an 8oz steak. My friend sent back the fish as it was barely warm on a cool plate. My steak was over cooked and asparagus undercooked. We recieved another cod and it was hot and plated nicely, but lacked taste. I think the use of warm plates would be helpful to prevent luke warm food. I'm sorry for writing this about such a beautiful place and staff, but for $250.00, I expect a great meal. Sorry guy's
