The Whaler's Inn - MYSTIC

We had a terrific time at the Whaler's Inn. The room was clean and had a historic, old-fashioned feel. The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants in downtown Mystic and just feet away from the river and Mystic's drawbridge. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we're back in Mystic.

We booked a room block here for our wedding and are so happy we did. The location obviously can not be beat. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the staff is amazing! We are already planning to stay here again for our anniversary. Can't wait!

A lovely boutique hotel in Mystic, CT!We stayed here for a work offsite in Feb '23 and the hotel staff, restaurant staff, restaurant (Shipwright 's Daughter , conference room, and service EXCEEDED our expectations!At check in (if desired one can get all the info on Mystic, to include tourist attractions, coffee shops, shopping restaurants. Truly appreciated the guidance from the gentleman at the front desk who guided me to exactly what I was looking for!The rooms upstairs have thin walls. The rooms at the house next door do not. (I stayed downstairs couldn 't hear anyone upstairs, etc. . Lovely accommodations with clean, fresh, up to date linens. The room and bathroom were very clean.The Whaler 's Inn is right next to the water and bridge which makes traversing into town or sitting on a bench by the river an easy walk. The staff go above and beyond to care for guests! Cute gifts in the hotel lobby!Living in nyc, I can HIGHLY recommend the restaurant attached! The Shipwright 's Daughter dining experience is: impeccable, precise, thought out, delicious, creative, interesting and tasty! For breakfast we really loved their poached egg offerings iced coffee! Also, walk across the St. to The Engine Room restaurant....the fried fish sandwich is exactly what you are looking for don 't miss it!If you live in NYC and want to get away, this boutique hotel is great for vacation, great food and/or an offsite for work. The front desk and staff will curate your visit to your preference and truly have space and time to help you. The Whaler 's Inn is a great boutique hotel! Thanks for having us!

Was in town for the day. Stopped in and day at the bar for a drink. I got the Smoked house **** Marie with bacon. Thy best, **** Marie I've ever had. The staff behind the bar were amazing and funny. And informed us of up coming drinks in June. Will be going back .Nearby activities: Plenty of things to do since it's right in town.Safety: Very safeWalkability: Steps to everythingFood drinks: Amazing

Overrated, it's a place to stay. “ location is good. “ Staff enjoys their chairs at the front desk. They were doing their job. The EVO charging spots pointed out were blocked off. Adequate, it's a stop along the way. Nothing more, nothing less
