Terrific service in a nice, quiet setting. Although the fish options were limited that particular night, we ended up with the best fried oysters we've ever had and 2 meat dishes which were also phenomenal. Lots of unique flavors with the wonderful sauces and preparations. We will be back.

We love the starters (bites of fish, red eggs), beautiful and delicious. We also loved the beef entrees. Mushroom entree was very good also but a bit expensive. Thanks a lot to our waitress Andrea: she was helpful and good advisor for the wine bottle! Overall, this restaurant is wonderful, perfect bistronomy! We recommand!

We've been to Shipwright's Daughter a number of times and have always enjoyed good service and good food the reasons we keep going back. This time, we went for brunch eggs Benedict for me, eggs hashbrowns for my husband. The bar makes an excellent **** Mary.

Great location, with a great vibe. But staff forgot items off of our order then food came out cold. Very few people were there so I asked if they could warm it up. Guy sighed then took my plate without a word. It came back out the same temperature cold. We joked that they took it back and put it in the refrigerator for five minutes. Staff remained nonchalant when I mentioned it again. I'm never one for drama but this was a service fail. No one goes out to brunch to eat cold eggs and bacon or to tip someone not to care. Please focus on your basics, especially training and effective service responses.

First time visiting after a much anticipated wait as it had been on our must try list for breakfast or brunch. We were welcomed with a complimentary mimosa toast because it was our anniversary which was a kind and thoughtful gesture. Our food was outstanding. While I had been dreaming all week of the sourdough pancakes and was initially disappointed that they were not on the menu- I was happily impressed with the brioche french toast. My husband and I split all items: french toast, homemade granola, and the captain's breakfast. We are certain to dine again and will recommend to others.
