Chapter One Food And Drink Mystic Ct

Our server, Mauve, was fantastic. She had a thorough understanding of the menu, offered excellent recommendations, and was attentive without being intrusive. The food spoke for itself, but Mauve really showcased the restaurant's offerings.

I ordered the tuna, and it was enjoyable; however, the **** Mary was one of the blandest I have ever had. The server who attended to us was quite passive-aggressive and made rude comments, which made us want to leave, but it was the only place open after 9:30 PM. When I requested to substitute the rice in my meal due to dietary restrictions, I was met with an unfriendly attitude and rudely asked what I wanted instead, without being offered any options. For an upscale restaurant located in a tourist area of Mystic, they really need to improve their service.

The food was decent overall. However, the appetizers were quite small for the price. The biggest issue was the music—they played loud club music, which is not what you want to listen to while enjoying a nice dinner. Even though we asked the manager to change it, he refused, and I noticed other guests were complaining about it, too. Unfortunately, I think I'll explore other dining options the next time I'm in Mystic.
