Smokin Bbq On 45 - Mundelein

Between the very friendly and kind family owners to the absolutely amazing food, this is a healing place to go for a meal! I had a very rough week and this food nurture is sold. The jerk chicken had a balance of sweet, smoky, and downright tasty flavors!The dirty rice is simply amazing. The only downside was how sad I was upon eating all of it, and realizing there was no more onmy plate? I would eat here every day if I could. Run, don?t walk, to this friendly and one of a kind restaurant!

The food is absolutely delicious! The brisket is so tender and they pile on the meat! We were all happy with our food and definitely be back soon.

The food at this restaurant truly embodies Southern comfort. The ribs were absolutely perfect! The collard greens and macaroni and cheese were incredibly delicious. Although it's not an upscale restaurant, the quality of the food and the warmth of the owners make it a five-star experience!

My girlfriend and I were in the mood for barbecue and decided to try this place on a whim. From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed. Danita took our order and was a pleasure to chat with. The love and attention came through in the food; the barbecue was delicious with just the right amount of spice, and the side dishes were impressive as well. We will definitely be returning to Smokin BBQ on 45 and highly recommend it!

I tried the burnt ends special, and they were fantastic! The blues music in the dining room really set the mood. I wish I lived closer!
