Park Street In Mundele - Mundelein

Excellent dinner and outstanding service. Reasonably priced and nice vibe.

Great food and drinks. Generous portions on both. Forgot our appetizer so gave us a free desert. Nice!! A little slow with service.

We met friends for dinner. We ordered the Chef's Mac and Cheese (lobster and shrimp), whitefish, cedar plank salmon and mahi-mahi. All of our meals were delicious. AND because we spent $50, we received a free bottle of pinot grigio for our table. Great value!

Our first trip to Park Tavern was fine. Food was decent. Not great but certainly not the worst. The beer menu didn't match up well with what they actually had available but the ten or so handles they had were solid. The best part about Park Tavern is the building. It's old with exposed brick and there seems to be a lot to find. I'm not sure we'd go back but if friends wanted to meet there we wouldn't tell them no because of the location.

The food was sub-par. The calamari appetizer was very rubbery. We also ordered a flat bread appetizer, which was actually just a regular pizza. For a very empty restaurant, our service was very poor. Disappointing as we had gone here for an Anniversary dinner based on the great reviews. We will not return.
