What a casual eating, child-friendly. beautiful huge meal times the meal saw and tasted amazing some live music over lunch would be great

New cook and had rave reviews. very disappointing. the $90 share plate ordered. was absolutely disgusting. fish was infertile, it was so fat, calamari was so tender and tasty. it says something when the chips n garlauchbrot are the highlight on a $90 meal.

This is a classic aussie pub that has located some miles outside townsville. very until earth with a focus on classical Aussie working culture. a decent selection of beers and other drinks with a large outside area. the people of michelin will not soon be forgiven stars, but eating has hit me as a solid, decent quality, great portions and reasonable prices. we had several meal times there and never had problems, although the routine of going to get their own is a pain. the rooms are clean and comfortable without worrying nothing wrong with them but if they want 5 stars this is not the place.

I was served undercooked fish at this restaurant and received poor customer service. Eating there could be a health hazard, but at least they gave me a refund.

I don't often find myself all the way out at bushland beach however on the odd occasion recently I visited this establishment for a quick meal. All I can say is the service here needs a 100% revamp. Not only did I wait over 20...minutes for someone to come outside and greet me but I was also told at the bar that I was less of a person for ordering a certain brand of beer. The staff constantly coughed all over the place and it was almost enough for me to just get up and leave. The only saving grace was the meal, my beef schnitzel was cooked to perfection and the meal itself was rather impressive. It is quite a shame that the service tarnishes what else would've been a rather pleasant dining experience.
