The Governor's Cafe - Mount Alexander

I visit this place occasionally for a fast meal of wings and fries.

The chicken wings were hot, but the fries were cold. The chicken wings appeared to be overcooked in oil, as they were very dark in color. It is possible that the oil had not been changed recently.

I highly recommend trying the ribs at this restaurant. Additionally, the suicide sauce for the wings strikes the perfect balance between heat and flavor.

Just stopped in for a quick coffee before doing the jail guided tour (would recommend). Coffee was top notch and the staff were so friendly!

This cafe is in a great spot and serves coffee, cake and light meals. Have been a few times. Can be a bit hit and miss but the view makes up for all that.
