Bidrage med feedbackIt's so nice to have a place where we can take our puppy ! Sitting out on the deck was relaxing and they brought him out a water bowl and a milkbone ! Service was incredible we got our food fast for it being homemade !!! Everything was delicious I recommend the mac and cheese , pieroges and fried mozz! Definitely coming back soon
My friend and I had an early dinner Saturday. She is from out of town; and had never dined here; this was my second time. The waitress was great!! The food was fantastic!! We took dessert home with us; and the chocolate cake was to die for!! I have never had cake that tasted like it had fudge in it! all and all a great experience!!!
The very expected restaurant morgantown flour feed co. has opened in the district wharf and adopts the names of the historic building. for some background, this place did not seem to be prosperous during my time in morgantown: first synergy chophouse and saloon, then mon river chophouse, then careyes grill then Lebanese bistro, before its current incarnation. the name that relied on the roots of the building gave me hope. I think it's trendy. but one day when I went through the building before the opening, I saw a man standing over the country and making a break from his work. I asked if he was a owner, and he said yes. I said I was excited for opening up and asking what kind of food they would have, he reacted indistinguishably with bar food that was disappointed. yet, as soon as I got the chance, a few employees and I gathered to try it. the building is and was always very beautiful. Although the parking space is not easy (there is a dosed partie a little too foot away), the space is beautiful. black industrial deck, exposed stone walls, dark wood floors and a huge, beautiful copper installation with glassware. Outside there is a great area overlooking the rail trail. it was too rainy today, but I would like to come back and review it. the menu is somewhat eclectic, from poutine and pierogies to wings and heavy fish. it's all you have handmade, so it's exciting. we have set up two appetizers so we can rehearse: the poutine and the pierogies. poutine seems to slip on menus in morgantown lately, but my first experiences with poutine came in montreal and it won't be much better than that. the poutine was not as much poutine as it was like a spicy engraving overtop friars that quickly soggy and a few hunks of very chewing pieces pork fat. I think there was a Squeezy cheese somewhere. everything in everything, not great. they were described as hand-cut pommes, bourbon gravy, aged cheddar and crispy ardons that sound amazing. but the real taste, not so much. the fries that were not covered in the gravur were good crisp and fresh, but others were not crisp enough to stand up to the gravure that was heavy and cheese curds were not present. that said the conversion of the heavy and the addition of cheese curds would make a world of difference.
Beautiful restored flour factory next to the waterfront. service was efficient, friendly and easy to speak. the owner is very dedicated and checked his guest. Do not forget the amazing homemade gourmet comfort food. the fries are freshly cut, double fried and exactly the correct amount of salt. the homemade cheese sauce has filled it. wings were perfectly fried, ordered the sauce on the side. please try the klempner bbq that has a twist of asiates, they will lick their finger. our favorites was the homemade pierogis. such taste. sweet butter onions, perfectly seasoned, and the most amazing thing I ever had with a spicy kick. yum!
