We stayed 5 nights for extensive hiking tours in the surrounding Sibillini mountains. Excellent location for such walk and little alternatives as the next village, Caselluccio is still damaged by earthquakes and not accessible by road. Very friendly, family-run guesthouse. Basic but clean. Restaurant offers a very limited menu but everything we got was good albeit sometimes a bit of a surprise. The best tagiatelle with wild boar I ever had. We were invited to drink various complementary home-made spirits at our heart's content.

Foce is a small hamlet in the Sibillini mountains which has suffered extensive damage in the recent earthquakes but the restaurant Della Montagna would appear to have been unaffected. The food served is simple Italian cuisine at a reasonable price. Food is served either outside on the patio or on our visit as the weather was changeable, we ate in a very pleasant dining room with a good sized log fire.

Un posto di pace e tranquillità. Prodotti fatti in casa, ottima qualità e freschezza degli ingredienti. Un pranzo molto piacevole, anche grazie alla gentilezza del personale. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare a gustare!

We stayed here 2 nights, arriving on foot from rubbiano and walking on to castelluccio via lago di pilato and forca viola a wonderful walk. Roberto and his family were great, good taverna mountain food and bed, the situation is stupendous, and Roberto was a great host and very helpful indeed. We'd love to go back!!
