From the moment that we arrived until we left, the dinner was an incredible experience. Chef Enrico Mazzaroni is an artist in the kitchen. The dishes were unique and delicious. The entire tasting menu was a delight. It included many fun surprises in its presentation. Everyone was accommodating and very pleasant. The place is beautifully designed and its remote location adds to its ambiance. It's definitely a place for a special occasion. The Michelin star is highly deserved and the prices are surprisingly low. We will come back soon.
For years I posted a review on Trip Advisor for every restaurant where we ate. After a while I got burned out on writing reviews, so now I only write a review for restaurants that are exceptionally wonderful or exceptionally bad. Ristorante Il Tiglio is one of those restaurants that is exceptionally wonderful. Everything is first class. The food, the service and the wine were perfect. We ordered the menu degustazione “Il Ritorno” which is a tasting menu of seven items. The first item consisted of numerous finger food items. There were so many that we lost count, but each one was delicious. Both the food and the presentation were very creative and contained duck, lamb, veal, clams, trout and more. In addition to the food, we chose the wine tasting which matched four ample glasses of wine with the food. I’m surprised I made it back on the winding roads to Amandola. The meal was expensive but worth every centesimo. We will definitely go back.
Love for its origins and territory Bravura in the preparations, always balanced, with combinations of products also very dissimilar to each other. Cappellino da ex boy-barazzino, goggles round and the inevitable smile, this is Enrico Mazzaroni, who makes you feel at home even after years you do not see it. In the tasting menu La Transumanza transfers all its territory and traditions in the dishes. In the room his alter ego Gianluigi manages to find words and gestures to make you feel comfortable. A place where kitchen and dining room take you in a busy and pleasant journey between emotions and surprises. Matching wines and spectacular food. Best michelin restaurant in which I was, quality of extraordinary dishes, all well-kept in detail, fast and perfect service, excellent value for money, definitely worth the michelin star. I will definitely return and recommend it.
