Bidrage med feedbackIt was great but sadly now closed I was lucky enough to go many times and bear witness to the existential philosophy of Paolo at the height of his front of house powers Cold polenta in 2005 being my highlight Wine? It's all the same.........
This place can 't be faulted for what bit wishes to provide. The quantity of dishes and the variety provided is exceptional for the money they charge. If you want a posh restaurant with piped music, an attentive waiter and splendid decor then this isn 't for you. If you want Italian character, home cooking, good friendly service and an experience you won 't witness in England then give it a try.If they offer you something and you don 't understand just say Yes as it won 't be expensive. If you don 't speak Italian don 't worry. If you 've got children then take them because they 'll cater well for them with their pizzas.
This restaurant is out of the way, which only adds to its charm. Eating outside is erfect on a summer evening. The anti pasto and the crepes are particularly worth a mention. Wasn't hugely impressed with the white wine but am looking forward to going back and trying the red.
With a beautiful view this family own restaurant is really good. The antipasto selection along with the main course have never disappointed. We have visited multiple times and my entire family asks to go back. Make sure you get the local wine and if you can watch the owner cook the meet right in the fireplace. A bunch of fun!!
