Bidrage med feedbackLobster roll was delicious. Not as big as billed. Hubby had fried seafood scallops/haddock something else (can't remember) with fries which was pretty good.. Super filling as one might anticipated. I had sweet potato fries which were really good.
Amazing food staff and service! Came in and we were greeted warmly and they let us know with how busy there could be a wait for food. We said no problem as long as the drinks were cold the wait was ok. Husbands ordered Ceasar salads and fish and chips. My sister and I were looking forward to the chowder but unfortunately it was sold out so we shared the delicious combo platter.. Everything was amazing and hardly any wait time at all, staff were courteous and so efficient breaking down tables and reconfiguring to accommodate the crowds coming in . The best part a new batch if chowder was made and we were able to take some for take out! Thank you Erin for your wonderful service not just us but to all your clients you and your team are amazing!
We read reviews and were recommended Skipper Jacks by friends. There was a wait to be seated which we were fine with as a busy restaurant is a sign that the food must be good! We didn’t have to wait too long once seated but the wait time for our meals was an hour. I feel they could do better as this is too long for a table of only three guests. The food was delicious and fresh but I’m not sure we would return based on this experience.
In Moncton for car show. Had to have seafood of course. Found Skipper Jack. No regrets. There was a wait, and told there often is, so plan accordingly. But there is take out, and. An pre order. The Mate Platter with Greek style salad. Comes with 4 under 10 scallops (that means BIG size) and 4 large (21/25) shrimp on skewers. Nicely grilled and not over cooked. Also had lobster roll with fries. Stuffed with more lobster than I have seen on other lobster rolls. Excellent value. Prices are more than fair. Although extremely busy, kitchen kept up volume, this is impressive in itself. And the servers all maintained their smiles. “Worth the Wait”. The servers should have this on their t shirts. No dinner plans tonight. Hmmm, maybe we should visit again. I hear the onion rings are made in house. Oh, and the chowder deserves to be tested.
With out Question the Best Sea Food in Moncton if not all of the Maritimes However ,the Great food is only good if you are ready to WAIT A 1/2 Hr wait to get in then a 1 Hr wait for the food is a spoiler for an otherwise Great outing Service is Great Food is Great The Wait Not so much
