Bidrage med feedbackI love this place. Wood fired pizza is great...love the Stephanie and beet and giat cheese salad. Also love that pizza that I can't pronounce with the spicy sauasage and peppers hot
My hubby and I wanted to try something new and I had heard great things about this spot. We were seated very quickly by a lovely lady we later found out was an owner. Our server came by to take our drink order and we also ordered some meatballs as I heard they were good. The owner( I believe her name was Leidi but that could be spelt wrong) came over to chat and see if we had questions. We weren't sure about some of the listed ingredients as we are not italian! We wanted a pizza so she suggested a few but then asked what we liked and made us a custom pizza as my hubby doesn't enjoy spicy. It was delish! For dessert we tried the trio. The portions are not huge but the food is authentic and alot of ingredients are imported from Italy. So if you are looking for a big heavy pizza this is not the spot. If you want a taste of Italy...then try it!
My husband and I visited for the first time this past weekend. The atmosphere is lively and pleasant and the pizza was outstanding. The crust, in particular is excellent. This establishment prides itself on being " authentic Italian" , so much so that they serve wine in what would be considered a juice tumbler, because that's what they do in Italy. Many of your patrons have likely not been to Italy, and would never know the difference. But most of your patrons have likely had a glass of wine, or may even be wine fans. Wine is about presentation too. If you want to offer an authentic experience, by all means do so, but for those that prefer, a proper wine glass so it can be properly savored and enjoyed would be really nice.
My recent dining experience at Piatto's left much to be desired. The wine was served in a glass more suited for a child's drink, the pizza had a burnt taste, and our meals arrived at different times. Dessert was expensive and didn't meet expectations. Despite our waiter's excellent service, the overall experience fell short. There are better Italian restaurants to choose from in the city.
We were looking for a nice place to eat italian food and I think we did find a great one!!! Everything was tasty.... we had a great time... nice place to visit in Moncton
