Beach At Royal Palm Grille

This is a great little bar on the beach. Steve behind the bar is very friendly. If you want to have a drink and sit on the upper decking with a beautiful view of the beach this is the place to go! Went twice this week and I'll definitely be back when wecome back to visit this area again!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The bartender was extremely rude and refused to accept my REAL ID only because the picture was slightly blurry. I had multiple forms of ID to prove it was me but he REFUSED to look at them. I just turned 21 so Iwas so excited to buy a drink. We had a great time at the Royal Palm Grille and my ID was accepted there so I was ready tocontinue enjoying the night at their bar. But this bartender completely ruined my night.

Authentic! The Beach Bar is likely my favorite little spot in the Destin, Sandestin, and Miramar Beach area. This place may not be for everyone, but for me, it’s exactly what I was looking for. It's typically classified as a dive bar, featuring one bartender, a rustic wooden bar, a handful of tables, a TV up in the rafters, and a prime location right on the beach. What more could you ask for? If you prefer a more upscale experience, this may not be the place for you—consider yourself warned. In my opinion, it's best to avoid the shrimp cocktail and crab cakes; however, the grouper sandwich and tacos are excellent!

This is a fantastic place right on the beach. They stay open late, serve excellent drinks, and have amazing bartenders.

Without a doubt, this was the worst experience I've had on a Friday night at a bar. After my friends and I had our IDs checked, we went inside to order drinks, and I wish we hadn't. The bartender, Missy, was incredibly unpleasant, rude, and unwelcoming. Ordering a drink was a hassle; she screamed at us four times to confirm our IDs had been checked. When my friend inquired about the beer selection, her response was so abrupt that we were left speechless. I ordered a vodka soda, and she decided it needed a vigorous shake, which ended up making the drink flat. The atmosphere was utterly lacking—no music, uncomfortable seating, and unfriendly staff. The only redeeming feature was the view of the beach. As we left, someone even yelled, "Don't come back!" We will gladly take that advice and won't be returning. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and sincerely hope Missy receives training not only in bartending but also in customer service. Be nicer. Do better.
