Manee Thai Cuisine - MINTO

Three of us visited here for dinner. There were not many people in the restaurant but it was a Wednesday evening. The staff were very friendly and spent a lot of time talking with us. Meals were good. The restaurant's decorations were 90% Thai and 10% Turkish, since it used to be a Turkish(I think) restaurant owned by the same owner. Made the decorations look interesting though.

Food was delicious and value for money. We ordered 3 dishes for 3 persons and it is more than enough. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends.

If you are sick of just having the run of the mill Thai food (eg pad thai, stir fry) this place serves what other typical thai restaurants don't serve. You will find delicious coconut rice, steam pork belly five spice, to name a few. Average price per dish is about $15. My hubby and I spent a total of only $48 on dinner (one entree of satay chicken, one main of steam pork belly five spice, coconut rice plus another satay chicken as take away).

Spur of the moment decision - had been grocery shopping after work, didn't want to cook, decided to try Manee Thai. We got a bottle of wine from BWS then walked across to the restaurant. I had the coconut prawns for an entrée which were yummy, hubby had curry puffs which were hot and fresh. Main was chicken green curry with rice and chicken stir fry with cashews. The food was fresh, authentic and very tasty, service quick and pleasant and the bill was around $50. Can recommend.

Nice well kept restaurant with tasty food, located at the entrance of minto Mall Great for casual dining. The food is always fresh and they do great lunch specials.
