The Harbour Cafe Minehead

Absolutely amazing place! Came here for a wedding and the staff were so lovely! Room was amazing, came with drink assortment for coffees etc. Staff were very accommodating and very lovely towards each of us! When I have the chance I will certainly be coming here again, absolutely recommend!

Fantastic staff and service. All staff and particularly a chap called Daniel were attentive and catered to my dietary needs. I have coeliac disease, so I can 't eat gluten. I felt secure that they were all 'on the ball ' and very friendly. The food was good too! Thank you Daniel and staff, you 're brilliant!

During our vacation, we stayed at a comfortable hostel, which was quite pleasant. We shared a delicious mushroom starter, and while my companion really enjoyed her fish and chips, I was disappointed with my choice of hunters chicken—I should have gone with the mussels instead! The desserts looked beautiful and tempting. The beer was excellent, and the service from the staff was even better. I highly recommend it!

I stayed here to begin the South West Coast Path. The rooms are comfortable and clean, though the place shows signs of wear. The pub has an authentic charm, and both the food and drinks were enjoyable. What really stood out was the staff; the manager was fantastic, and the entire team was very attentive. The breakfast was good, although served in a rather shabby dining room, and we received an excellent packed lunch for our hike. I would recommend this place as a starting point for the South West Coast Path, as it’s conveniently located at the trailhead, and we couldn’t find anything else that compared to Minehead.

We returned for lunch and enjoyed a tasty roast; my partner had a drink that he claimed he'd never tasted anything like before. A big thank you to Rosie and her team for making our stay and meals so enjoyable. We even traveled back the following weekend to see them on Saturday! xx
