Taqwas Bakery And - Milwaukee

I am glad to find this restaurant. From start to end, it was a great dining experience. Such a clean and authentic decor welcomes you. Our server was very polite and attentive. Everything we ordered were amazing, fresh from the oven, and delicious. People who live in Milwaukee are very lucky to have this restaurant, I hope they know its value.

Food is great. Bread is made fresh too. The only place I know that make Turkish coffee. The seasoning and flavors are superb. The waitress was a bit novice and took a bit longer than she should to check on us or forgot to bring a thing or two. They also did not have all the pastries they offer in the menu; perhaps they are now focused on a narrow list but hard to tell. Overall we enjoyed the food and the ambience. We recommend this place to anyone.

That cheese was absolutely amazing! The packaging was great! Food showed up warm it even steamed my glasses! The food was pretty good, but if I left a little bit of feedback for the restaurant: the oil used in the chicken is really strong. I don't think I'll ever order again because of the flavors it gives the chicken, almost like car oil. All the other flavors were great!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Milwaukee area. We had a bad experience with a similar restaurant down the road not holding our reservation for a birthday dinner. We left and went to Taqwa's instead and had an amazing meal with excellent service. It honestly made us happy that things didn't work out at the other place and cemented us as loyal customers.

I felt the place was understaffed. Only one person was taking care of the customers. Food is a bit americanized probably. Garlic sauce could have been better. Fries were not crispy and lacked flavor. The mixed grill platter was good. The atomosphere was good. I liked that fact that they have a mint shake, which is my favorite.
