1741 Pub Grill - Middlefield

I had high hopes for this place, but it was disappointing. The nachos were actually just homemade potato chips that were incredibly greasy, topped with a bland white cheese sauce that had an unpleasant acidity. The ham was chewy, and the Caesar wrap was tiny and drenched in dressing. Even the kids didn't enjoy the burgers, which were advertised as Angus beef but turned out to be just frozen patties from a food supplier. I expected much better based on the reviews. I've had quicker meals that were far superior.

This is a lovely spot to unwind on a Friday night! The familiar faces and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy the live music while you eat!

All I can say is, you need to try the apple cider donut bread pudding! It's the most heavenly bread pudding I've ever had. I think it would be delicious with vanilla ice cream on top. We also ordered a burger and sweet potatoes. The burger was decent, but the sweet potatoes were very crispy. Honestly, I would go back just for the bread pudding!

Fraught beer was chosen good and the burgers were excellent, although a tad overcooked, but still very juicy.

Dined for lunch. Cozy. Nice view. Appetizer was like a meal. I had the chili.
