As you read these reviews, remember people that this is the Post-Covid world. Everyone wants to eat, but nobody wants to work. This causes waiting times and service quality. The expectations will change. My experience in Shafer's Market was a tasty one. One of the better burgers I had in a while, and the best homemade frits I had all year round. Be patient and the universe will reward you.

I recently moved from Long Island, NY, and my search for a great pizza had been unsuccessful until I discovered Shafer's. It's a charming little spot that offers a wide range of options. Our server was exceptional—so friendly and professional, clearly knowledgeable from her years of experience. She even offered to make a fresh cake for us, and it did not disappoint! The pizza was the best I've had in a long time. The highlight of our visit was definitely the waitress; her positive attitude truly brightened our day. Thank you, Shafer's! We will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic spot for coffee or lunch! My husband and I tried the avocado bacon lettuce sandwich, and it was excellent. The cherry on top was that they had Sip of Sunshine in stock.

We stayed in our car just before we finished our meal. There were five of us, and we ordered five different sandwiches, both hot and cold. The staff was very friendly. Our sandwiches were delicious, served with thick-cut fries that were extra crispy and well-seasoned.
