Mcdonald's - Mesa

I was in this place tonight at 9:00. The cash register was very friendly. She had purple/blue hair I didn't get. She repeated my order to make sure that was correct and I got my order pretty fast. Big cash.

We decided to opt for the apple cake instead. My husband inquired about other flavors, and Brooke informed us that they had strawberry and cheesecake, so we ordered one of each along with two frappes. I must say, the strawberry cheesecake was absolutely delicious! The cakes were made fresh, served hot, and incredibly tasty. We also ordered two sausage breakfast sandwiches. During our meal, several customers approached the counter, and I felt really sorry for Brooke. Many had to leave disappointed because there was no ice cream available on a holiday weekend. I genuinely don’t understand the management's decision regarding the ice cream machine during peak hours. It was a hot holiday weekend; plenty of customers came in only to walk away empty-handed due to the lack of ice cream. On a positive note, our food was hot and freshly prepared, and the frappes were perfect. I had to clean our table as it was a bit dirty, but I could see that the staff was quite busy. This location lacks internet, restrooms, and a play area, so while it’s not very large, it’s still decent. Brooke, who took our order and prepared our frappes, even brought our other food to the table. She was very professional, polite, and clearly knew what she was doing. If this place had been running the ice cream machine and offered internet, I would have given it a solid 5 stars.

I don't often leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience because Jessica's customer service was outstanding. My order was quite long and complicated, as I had been speaking with a group of people on the phone, and she didn’t even seem frustrated. In fact, she said, “That wasn’t complicated at all!” after I had given her a heads-up beforehand. This was all happening amidst the Thanksgiving rush! Jessica and the team were incredible!

I visited this McDonald's location and had a fantastic experience thanks to the cashier named Kaila. She was incredibly friendly and had a great personality, even while handling a busy shift! She made sure I received my buffalo sauce without me even having to ask for it twice. While McDonald's is just a fast food chain, Kaila made it feel like I was at a cozy neighborhood burger joint.
