Flying J Travel Center - McCammon

Nice overnight spot and place to get propane and coffee in the morning. I stayed here in my camper van with no issues.

This large flying j is in the middle of nowhere, it is comforting to see it. It?s got a big lot clean bathroom and showered really really nice. Don?t think is got a laundry room thou. The food is somewhat docent as there is no restaurant but Thor hotmenu includes: meatloaf, Mac and cheese; gravy and mush potatoes and also pot roast. In addition to their pizza and burgers etc.

This place is fantastic! The customer service for getting propane for our RV was incredibly easy. While we were filling up, we noticed that our slide awning cover was flapping in the 20 MPH winds on our drive. The gentleman who helped us with the propane offered to lend us his ladder and even came out to assist my husband in unrolling and securing the awning cover so it wouldn’t flap anymore. Thank you so much for your outstanding customer service and for making our trip to Lava a wonderful experience!

I really enjoy visiting this restaurant. The seating area is incredibly comfortable and makes for a great place to relax. The food is quite tasty, and the customer service is outstanding!

The showers are exceptionally clean, being sanitized almost every time they're used. The cost is $16 (as of September 2022), which includes a towel and a face towel, along with soap. While the price is on the higher side, the cleanliness makes it worth it. To use the shower, simply walk up to the counter to pay, and you'll receive a receipt with a code. Wait until your number is announced on the speaker, which will inform you of the shower number you can access with your code. They also offer laundromat services, though I’m unsure of the pricing.
