The Lava - Lava Hot Springs

Super cute quaint hotel. We stayed in the courtyard room with private mineral hot tub on the patio. It was quiet, safe and all the locals were so welcoming. The property is close to everything a simple one minute walk to the bars and restaurants. My only complaint is our room did not have a thermostat or any way to control heating or the A/C, our room was freezing cold during the night. However If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay and unwind this is it. Thanks again for everyone’s hospitality and all the helpful friendly staff, we will be back again!

As soon as I entered the room, there was a strong and pungent smell of bleach or disinfectant. The air conditioner fan had been running for four hours, but the odor was still very noticeable. Rooms: 2 Service: 4 Location: 5

We love it here. We come every year when we visit family in Utah. Rooms are clean, and good lighting. Like the back door where we could sit. Enjoyed the front chairs so we could watch the happenings in town. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

My family stayed here and rented a few rooms one which was dog friendly. We brought both of our dogs and paid the $60 a night per dog for two nights service fee. When we checked out they went and cleaned our room and called us and said “the dog hair was so bad they needed to charge us $450 to replace the carpet.” Remind you the carpet was very disgusting and we didn’t even want our child crawling/walking on it. We are very disappointed with the customer service they provided and how they are treating us after our stay. We will make sure to let our friends and family know to never stay here. We have family who live there and we had a family member go check out the room with the dog hair and she also said the hair was not worth charging $450 or anymore than the service charge we had already paid prior our stay. We are very unhappy with how we are treated and how they are trying to get every penny out of us to redo their hotel. They need new management and friendly employees. DO NOT STAY HERE! FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD!
