We were house hunting and passed this place many times and finally decided to try it for lunch-despite some off reviews. We are so glad we did. (We had been to another local place and were extremely disappointed so we were hoping for something we could return to. This place is wonderful- classic trulli-nicely decorated and very comfortable. Our first visit was during a July heat wave and it was air conditioned and well set up-you never feel crowded or confined. The service was friendly and professional. The food was delicious- We liked this place so much we returned twice for dinner during this time. We have a baby with us (in a carriage and they were very accommodating-they also have high chairs. Well priced with a big dessert selection. Since then we've returned many times and it has become our favorite place in the area. In fact, we've gone back with friends and family and have tried so many different items-everything has been delicious and it is always a pleasure-excellent service, too.

A great neighborhood spot to experience the local cuisine. We had the Fava bean purée and sautéed chicory, orecchiette with meat sauce and followed it up with the brociole meat dish. They served a delicious melon called cocomero which is a cross between a cucumber and a melon and only grown in this region at this time of year. Excellent wine and a great value. It’s atmosphere is charming as we were seated in the trulli area also unique to this region.

We went to Vecchia Lanzo restaurant on a September Sunday.We had a very well cooked lunch, with handmade pasta and aubergines or mushrooms, a mix of roasted meat and a fantastic creamy sugary pudding,with berries.The staff is really friendly, kind and quick, ready to solve any problem. The prices are reasonable, the location is typical,inside Trulli,special buildings from this place.Please do not loose the opportunity to live a fantastic day here.

Abbiamo avuto una cena fantastica tra amici. Abbiamo gustato un antipasto delizioso e particolare, seguito da un primo piatto con funghi porcini squisiti. Il personale è molto gentile e cortese, in particolare la simpatica cameriera Antonella.

Il cibo era delizioso, il rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo e la posizione era perfetta. Ho cenato nel trullo ed è un posto molto bello per una cena romantica.
