Some of the best houses made Gnocchi I've ever had. My 3 and 8 Y.o. loved it and the picky man. A bit expensive for the UP, but it's worth it. We will visit again soon!

Absolutely amazing!. I just visited Villa Capri and honestly cannot understand how someone could write a bad review of this restaurant! It is a small family business and perhaps people who did not like it to be used for the canned and frozen food from chain restaurants. Everything I ate was delicious and completely fresh. The garlic bread was to die and the waitress warned me that there would be a lot of butter, so I just asked for slightly baked garlic bread and it was perfect. The salad was delicious and I'm not sure what was in the dressing, but I just can't seem to review it, no matter how hard I try! Then I have my steak. Oh, my God, it was perfection. It was perfectly seasoned and completely juicy and delicate. The lasagna I ordered as a supplement was a perfect addition to the steak. I had the spumoni for the desert. When it came out as pink ice, I was quite surprised, but the waitress informed me that it was a Villa Capri exclusive recipe that could not be found anywhere in the world! I found it a perfect end to an absolutely delicious meal. On our way out, I gave to my wife who sat us. It turns out that she was the owner of the restaurant and she was just wonderful! I will be back very soon and look forward to the excellent food and service I enjoyed so much!
