Jean Kay's Pasties Subs - Marquette

Grew up visiting my grandparents in the UP, been eating pasties all my life due to this. Ordered some recently online to have them shipped here. They arrived thawed out, temping over 43 degrees without any dry ice. Typically, you dont refreeze items that have been thawed. Now my dozen pasties are covered in a layer of frost and taste freezer burnt. Reached out the the shop immediately after delivery and no one took the time to respond to me, not even an apology. For the high cost I paid, my delivery should adhear to all food safety standards and practices. This is considered a major food violation and we net me massive fines at work for allowing this. Not sure it's worth ordering from here again. (For reference, my mother orders pasties all the time and they arrive frozen solid every time, without issue, this was the shops shipping mistake for forgetting dry ice in the middle of the summer)

I love pasties. My family ordered pasties from various areas around the UP. Jean Kay was the best of all! We decided to stop and visit personally. The staff are amazingly nice, and the owner is very friendly. Even if you guys don't want to visit in person, the online order is worth it! I had an Italian sub during my visit, it was refreshing after it had eaten nothing in the last 4 months as a tasteless soup. Very much worth it! Please show them some love!
