Bidrage med feedbackWe decided to try Villa Capri while passing through Marquette on our way to Pictured Rocks, and we were delighted with our experience. As fans of authentic Italian cuisine, we found this cozy and beautifully decorated restaurant to be beyond our expectations. The food is clearly homemade with great care, and the tomato sauce was perfectly seasoned. I particularly enjoyed the cheese ravioli, which was a true pleasure. I also had the minestrone soup, which was rich and flavorful. The garlic bread was fantastic, and the charming Italian music playing in the background added to the lovely atmosphere. My husband tried the thin crust pizza and said it was the best he had ever tasted. We shared a rice pudding for dessert, which was fresh, creamy, and subtly flavored with cinnamon and whipped cream. Unlike many desserts that are overly sweet, this one allowed the natural flavors to shine through. The service was outstanding, and the overall ambience was welcoming and relaxed. I only wish we lived closer to Villa Capri so that we could enjoy it more often!
If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine in the Upper Peninsula, this is the place to be! The service is fantastic, and the ambiance has a classic charm. Highly recommended!
The atmosphere has a charming, family-friendly vibe that reminds me of classic eateries. I appreciate local spots more than chains like Culver's or Applebee's; they just have a better energy. I really enjoyed the food, especially the thin-crust pizza, and the garlic bread was fantastic!
I've been here for years before I moved over the country. Actually, BETTER, when I remember. Once, I didn't set expectation higher than reality.
You can't beat the atmosphere in there it's all very romantic and the food is excellent. I always get a steak and some pasta on the side, the salads and garlic bread are great as well. It's a little busy in there so wait times can be long but it's worth it!
