If you're looking for good sushi, cheap or not, you're better off going to the grocery store than coming here. On first appearance, it seemed like a good spot, since there was only one (of 4) tables left. The guy working there promptly provided us menus and continued working, seemingly alone, but attentive. Now here are the red flags that should be noted. Red flag number 1; There is no washroom. You have to go across the parking lot to a totally different building, to the parking garage, in order to use the bathroom. Red flag number 2; We ordered our food, tempura being an item we ordered, and when our sushi arrived we had to remind the guy we ordered it. No big deal, until we heard a microwave running, and then proceeded to be given limp soggy, clearly reheated, tempura. Red flag number 3; The salmon was tough, the seaweed smelt like it had seen better days, and the single tiny piece of sorry looking avocado in the avocado handroll tasted like it had been ripe last week. Final Red flag (our fault for not instantly noticing) they did not have a food safe pass sign (green) in their door, or anywhere visible. Not saying they do not have one, but when paying to leave (and going to seek out food elsewhere) we realized. Moral of the story? Don't go here. If you're looking for take away, go a few doors down to Monkey Sushi. If you're looking to dine in, go somewhere else.

Feeling unwell after the chirashidon. The fish did not taste fresh and the rice was mushy. I don’t know if they were having an off day, but I just felt nauseous after eating. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
