Mr. Wok - Marietta

We have been ordering delivery from Mr. Wok at least once a month for the past two years, and the experience has always been great. The food arrives hot and delicious every time! The vegetables are fresh and perfectly cooked, which is a refreshing change from some places that seem to overlook them. Our favorites include the beef with snow peas and the chicken with black bean sauce. We appreciate that we can order directly from the restaurant for delivery, as it supports local businesses rather than going through less ethical third-party services. Additionally, the delivery is typically very quick and the drivers are always friendly.

I ordered the chicken and broccoli, and it was quite tasty! However, I wish they had trimmed the stalks a bit more. My dad had the sweet and sour chicken, and while he enjoyed it, he thought the sauce was a bit too vinegary. If you could include fresh fortune cookies and add peas, chopped carrots, and scrambled eggs to your 'Regular fried rice,' you'd definitely earn a 5-star rating!

The food is consistently excellent, and they are accommodating with special requests and fast delivery. This is one of two places near Marietta that truly reminds me of New York's food. I would suggest that one of the staff members at the counter could be a bit friendlier, but it's not a major issue for me. I’m not sure if that same person is always there, but most of the time, we order delivery at work, and we really enjoy their food.

Update: I’ve been back a few times since posting the first review. There’s a new person at the register and he is polite and efficient. Food is still tasty and a good value. Updated to 5 stars now. Old review, 2 stars. Food is pretty good. Take the girls phone away at the register and she might give a damn about the customers she is serving. I felt like I was interrupting her phone time when I placed an order. Maybe she’s playing a game or something, but I don’t want to wait a minute for you to finish what ever you are doing in your phone. This has happened multiple times.

I’ve ordered the vegan general tofu and it was delicious!
