Petals - Multi Cuisine Restaurant

Gambas Grillees; King prawns served with nut brown butter and lemon juice. It was so good we ordered it twice.

Petals is part of the Confluence resort on the ECR. Its for those who stay at the rsort and also for those who wish to take a drive and have a good meal. We took a drive and got in for a meal. Lovely lighting around the place, so it makes you feel that you are in a different area. Straight menu and your favorite choice of food available. Choice of sea food was limited even though we were near to the sea shore. But food was good and tasty.

After dining at a resort, we had a craving for a delicious dessert. We went for a drive and stumbled upon this hidden gem located within the Confluence banquets and resorts. The ambiance was excellent, with beautiful decorations. The service was equally impressive. This restaurant is open all day and offers a limited but tasty dessert selection. The quality and taste were outstanding. We may consider staying at this resort on a future trip.

The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere with plenty of space and is located near a pool. The hospitality is great and the food is delicious. The staff is friendly and the location is convenient, making it a perfect place to relax after a day trip to Mahabalipuram on the way to Pondicherry. The restaurant is located on the main road and the prices are fair for the service provided. However, be aware that the taxes are on the higher side, with service tax, service charge, and VAT adding up to 30% of your bill. Despite this, the restaurant offers a clean and refreshing environment to unwind from the dry coastal weather of Tamil Nadu.

This restaurant ,part of a banqueting complex ,(Confluence )has excellent ambience and serves great food.The menu has both Veg and Non- Veg and so should suit all.The service was excellent and cordial.The one limitation i felt was as the place is inside this complex and if any big event is going on , it could be a bit of a hassle to reach this place as there is no separate entrance to reach this place and parking could be a issue.
