Pizza Di Roma West - Madison

My husband and I ordered delivery figuring we'd try something new. The driver was very nice and dropped it off on the porch as requested. The pizza though was sadly disappointing. There was not much sauce, so the pizza was dry, and the garlic cheese bread tasted like raw garlic. Even the sauce that came with the cheese bread had minimal flavor.

Absolutely love this pizza. Hasn 't realized until earlier tonight that the west side location existed (got through some lean college years a slice at a time downtown), and I was cautiously optimistic ordering carryout for the family. The location is a bit odd, and doesn 't seem like it 'd draw much traffic, but my youngest and I were amazed at how nice the location looked on the inside (yet another if not for COVID moment). He was astonished by the size of the box the 20 inch pizza came in (I was more impressed that the prices were still extremely reasonable). He proudly walked it in from the garage, presented it to the rest of the family, and when we got to eating it was absolutely marvelous. My eldest learned how to fold a New York slice , my wife and I waxed nostalgic about how much of it we 'd eaten while dating, and we all ate far more than we meant to (and still have leftovers to boot) My wife loves a bit of hyperbole (and I can 't vouch for her comment having never been there myself) but she swore it was better than any pizza she had in New York. Take that for what it 's worth, but we 'll be regular customers from here on out. Love this pizza.

Great pizza, but dont get delivery. I get so frustrated when i used to order delivery, the people they have answering the phones cannot even speak english. Ya gotta give your card number about 4 times, spell your address about five times, they say 30minutes till it arrives. Then an hour and 45min later i get a call from the driver looking for my house. Stood on the driveway for about 15min waiting. Pizza arrived COLD. the driver was frustrated. Told me to call the owner the next day and he would comp. My order. So i did, and he was soooo generous he gave me a whopping %10 discount! Just really pisses me off because i think they have some of the best NY STYLE pizzas. And the pizza i like best on the west side. Have the people who answer the phones learn to speak the english please.

My go to local pizzeria. Great NY Style pizza for a great price. It's hard to beat a 20 pie for 15 bucks and its taste far exceeds it price.

Very soft opening. Still needs servers, air conditioning, and credit cards. The pizza is quite good, thin crust style. Two huge slices and a soda for $10.
