Lao Laan Xang - Madison

We visited this restaurant for the first time last night to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and it was truly amazing. They offer four levels of spiciness, and I chose level three, which was just right. The iced Thai coffee and tea were outstanding as well. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere inside was beautiful. The seating is arranged so that you don't feel cramped or as if you're sharing a meal with strangers nearby. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!

What can I say? Dining here is truly delightful and authentic! Be sure to kick off your meal with one of their tasty appetizers, like the grilled chicken, crab rangoon, or coconut-baked shrimp. The attentive waitstaff was another highlight of our visit. I'm curious about how this place differs from others, especially since I'm not certain if they offer the same menu options. The atmosphere also sets this restaurant apart from others. I can't wait to come back!

Wow! This restaurant has amazing food and excellent service! The kang gai soup is absolutely delightful. The coconut dish was delicious and came with a refreshing cucumber salad. The khua nor mai was perfectly garlicky. There are so many tasty options! Their squash curry is famous around town. Thank you, Lao Laan Xang. It's so great to be back in Madison!

Fast delicious! only one heads-up: adventurous is a step into a spicy zone! I'm usually a 3 out of 5 in my seasoning choices, this has been on a bead, but still delicious!

So good! Such a cozy setting and delicious food. Highly recommend the fresh spring rolls and kang phet!
