BelAir Cantina - Madison

I thoroughly enjoyed everything at this restaurant, but the standout for me was the chips and queso - it was the best I've ever had! I also tried the Korean Inspired Beef Bowl, which was tasty. The meat was tender and flavorful, but the rest of the bowl was a bit ordinary. I will definitely be returning, and I look forward to trying more items on the menu.

This is my new favorite taco place in Madison! It is located on the square with a perfect view of the Capitol. I love the friendly vibe of this place. We visited on a Sunday night and were seated promptly. The chips and salsa arrived quickly, and all three types of salsa were delicious! I couldn't stop eating them, I had to move the bowls away from me. The menu offers a great selection of vegetarian options, and they also have a nice variety of margaritas, including virgin options. I tried the mango margarita (virgin) and it was very refreshing. For appetizers, we ordered the spicy chicken quesadilla and the los tres amigos. The queso fundido, black bean, and guacamole dips were amazing, and the quesadilla was tasty. We then tried the shrimp bowl, spicy chicken bowl, tostada salad, and mix and match tacos. The tacos were fantastic, especially the Korean-inspired beef, Zihuatanejo shrimp, and tempura shishito ones. I love that the mix and match tacos come with rice and beans. Everything we ordered tasted incredible. Great food, service, and location. I highly recommend checking it out!

We had not so high expectations as all other restaurants in Capitol had long wait times, but we were pleasantly surprised at this one. We were seated outside in just 5 minutes. The interior decor and cleanliness could use some improvement. However, our server was fantastic. The margarita was good but a bit too sweet. The food was better than we expected. Definitely recommend paying the extra $2 for the chips and salsa, it's worth it! The soy chorizo vegan tacos were tasty but lacked the crunch of fried potatoes. The staff should be aware that if someone orders the vegan taco option, they do not want the pinto beans that contain animal fat and should offer black beans instead. The churros were okay but overpriced and took 20 minutes to make for some reason. Our server explained that a cook had left and the ticket got missed, but they were taken off our bill. I would definitely come back for another spontaneous night out without a reservation.

Love the options on the menu, I like that they have so many vegetarian options. they also have a beautiful selection of margaritas and they also make virgin margaritas. I had the mango margarita virgin and it was so refreshing. in the apps we ordered the quesadilla spicy pollo and los tres amigos. all three dips, queso fundido, blacker bean and guac were amazing. even the queen was so delicious. then we ordered the garnel bowl, spicy pollen bowl, tostada salat, mix the match-tacos. the tacos were great. the Korean inspired bark taco, zihuatanejo garnelen taco, and tempura shishito tacos are a must try. I love that the mix and match tacos come with tears and buzz. everything we ordered was incredible. great food, service and location . look at it!

Very good meal and friendly service. I recommend the carne asada shell! the meat was tender and the sauce was very good. also make sure to try the chips and salsa much for three salsas. also shown: Tuesday Thursday 2 tacos. a quantity that should not be passed on!
